I need this all the time. In PS und Lightroom you just draw lines on a picture of a building and its stretched immediately and perfectly. In Pixelmator Pro you have to pull the 4 corners of the image by yourself and that sucks so much. I didn't even find a function to go just vertically or horiziontaly by holding shift or whatever. Please just copy lightrooms perspective tools.

Finally supports a white UI so you can actually see the controls and you can have it use this even when MacOS is set to Dark mode. Use of MacOS Metal software makes tools much smarter. Removing a picture background via Quick Select was taking me an hour with the original Pixelmator, so I dared to try the PRO version and was amazed — only 7 minutes to remove and it was significantly more precise around the edges.

I've maxed out with everything available that could work in my machine until the new Mac Pro comes out late this year. So it does work great and the nice thing the Pixelmator Pro Team did for me was to provide me with a download because I've already purchased their finen product.

The yellow shade upon drawing areas will be mislocated based on the original image rather than after-transformed. It appeared to be working normal before 1. I would not suggest anyone to try Pixelmator until this is fixed and improved. Mon Jul 29, pm This isn't actually a bug as such — previously, any nondestructive features of the app effects, adjustments, styles would be flattened when a 'destructive' tool was used on them.
So if you painted using the Repair tool on a layer with effects, the effects would flattened rasterized and then the other tool would simply edit the new pixel content directly. This was changed in version 1. A side-effect of this is that certain layers behave unexpectedly in cases like this. Then, once you repair, everything will work as expected. I can't make any concrete promises but it should really be available in the not too distant future.

Getting used to the new UI was a little challenging but once I got thr hang of it, there was nothign to using thia applicaiton. The repair tool works extremely well and saves me a lot of time fixing small blemishes and removing unwanted objects from the bakcground.

Use of MacOS Metal software makes tools much smarter. Removing a picture background via Quick Select was taking me an hour with the original Pixelmator, so I dared to try the PRO version and was amazed — only 7 minutes to remove and it was significantly more precise around the edges.
